Oppo is launching a quad-camera smartphone in Malaysia very soon and it’s their new A9 2020. Unlike the Reno 2 series, there are no fancy pop-up camera mechanisms on this new device. If you’re wondering about its photography features, Oppo has just dropped more details for its rear camera setup.
According to Oppo Malaysia, the upcoming device will get a 48MP main camera as well as an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. In addition, it will also get a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP mono lens. The A9 2020 is also packed with Oppo’s photography features such as Ultra Night Mode 2.0 and AI beautification.
If you’re interested, the Oppo A9 2020 is expected to launch locally on the 18th September 2019. For Malaysia, it will come with 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage and a large 5,000mAh battery. According to a leaked spec sheet, the device will come with a 6.5″ display and it will run on a Snapdragon 665 processor.
Oppo is also launching the device in Vietnam and they have released its teaser video on their Facebook page. We probably will know the full specs by next week as the Indian launch is taking place on 10th September.
