Samsung Galaxy A10s with 4,000mAh battery now available in Malaysia

The Samsung Galaxy A10s, is now available in Malaysia. Essentially, this is an upgraded version of the budget-friendly Galaxy A10 and it offers more cameras and a larger battery.

Upfront, the display remains unchanged with a 6.2″ Infinity-V IPS display that pushes an HD+ resolution of 1520×720 pixels. Under the hood, it runs on an Octa-core processor (likely MediaTek Helio P22) with 2GB RAM. It also gets 32GB of storage, which is expandable via microSD card.

For taking pictures, the Galaxy A10s now features a dual-camera setup with a 13MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 secondary shooter for bokeh effects and AR stickers. The device also comes with a 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Another new addition is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also supports Face Unlock. The device also gets a larger 4,000mAh battery (Galaxy A10: 3,400mAh) that charges via a microUSB port.

In Malaysia, the Galaxy A10s is officially priced at RM529 and it is available in three colours – Green, Black and Red. As a comparison, the previous Galaxy A10 is officially priced at RM499 with 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. Apart from the A10s, we expect Samsung Malaysia to introduce its other new Galaxy A smartphones such as the Galaxy A30s and A50s very soon.
