The next Apple Watch appears to come with ceramic and titanium finishes

The current Apple Watch Series 4 is turning one-year-old next month and it appears that Apple could be preparing new Watch options to go with the upcoming iPhone models. The latest watchOS 6 beta has revealed what seems to be ceramic and titanium variants of the Apple Watch models.

What you’re seeing here is an animation screenshot when the watch is being paired. This more or less confirms the existence of Titanium and Ceramic Case models that come with a 44mm size.

On the Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 3, the Ceramic model is offered as a premium variant but it isn’t available on the current Series 4. Meanwhile, the Titanium edition could be offered as another alternative premium option that offer a similar finish as the Apple Card. It isn’t clear if these models could end up as an all-new Apple Watch Series 5 and it is possible Apple will be releasing these two as new additions to the current Series 4.

To recap, the new Apple Watch Series 4 offers a larger display thanks to thinner bezels and it comes in either 40mm and 44mm sizes. The speakers are now louder and the digital crown has been updated to offer haptic feedback. The Series 4 also introduces a new ECG reading feature which is only enabled in selected markets.
