Digi now offers 1Gbps Home Fibre Broadband, priced from RM179/month

Digi is now offering faster options for its Home Fibre Broadband. Initially available with either 50Mbps and 100Mbps for downloads, the yellow telco is now offering even faster speeds up to 1Gbps. On top of that, they are also offering a broadband + mobile postpaid bundle deal in Sabah where you can enjoy additional savings.

If you need more than 100Mbps, Digi is now offering 500Mbps for RM159/month and the top of the line 1Gbps Home Fibre option is offered for RM199/month. As usual, all plans come with unlimited quota and they are also tied with 24-month contract.

As a comparison, Maxis’ Home Fibre charges RM219/month for its 500Mbps plan and RM299/month for 800Mbps. Meanwhile, TIME offers 500Mbps for RM139/month and 1Gbps for RM199/month.

In terms of upload speeds, the lower 50Mbps and 100Mbps plans offer symmetrical speeds where you will get the same upload speed as your download speed. However, for the higher 500Mbps and 1Gbps options, the upload speed offered is 200Mbps.

Digi’s fibre availability is quite limited at the moment. When Digi first kicked off its Fibre pilot, they only cover Bandar Sunway, Bangi, Kajang, Rawang, Shah Alam and Subang. If your area is covered, Digi is offering a 48-hour installation service when you sign up. Do note that Digi’s Home Fibre Plan does not come with voice services.

For more info and to check on coverage, you can check out Digi’s Home Fibre page.

Digi Home Fibre + Mobile Plan Bundle

For those in Sabah, Digi is offering a Sabah Special where you can get up to RM20 off if you sign up for the Home Fibre Plan together with a postpaid plan. With this bundle, the 500Mbps plan is going for RM139/month, while the 1Gbps option is going for RM179/month.

At the bare minimum, you can get a 50Mbps home fibre plan plus a Digi Postpaid 80 with 20GB of data for RM169/month. This bundle offer is valid until 30th September 2019. You can learn more about the Sabah Special promo here.
