Honor 9X Pro diagram reveals a triple-camera setup and it retains a fan favourite feature

At the end of this month, Honor is introducing not one but two new mid-range smartphones. The Honor 9X will be announced alongside with a higher-spec Honor 9X Pro. After revealing a diagram of the Honor 9X, reliable leakster Evan Blass has dropped more clues on the Pro model.

From the illustration below, the Honor 9X Pro will also retain a full-screen display that has no notches and it will also feature a pop-up selfie camera. What’s different is a triple-camera setup, which is one camera extra than the standard model. So far there are no details yet on the individual camera spec but we reckon it should be a notch below its current Honor 20 series.

If you look at the bottom, there’s a rounded cut-out hole which indicates that the Honor 9X Pro might come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This isn’t shown on the 9X schematics which we saw earlier.

It will be interesting if Honor Malaysia will bring in both the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. When the Honor 8X was announced in our market, we didn’t get the larger Honor 8X Max model. The Honor 9X will be revealed in China on 23rd July and it has been confirmed that it will be running on their latest 7nm based Kirin 810 chipset.
