Lazada offers the Mi 9T with two years warranty and damage protection cover

The Xiaomi Mi 9T is probably the best smartphone you can get right now for less than RM1,200. If you want to get a unit with the best protection possible, Lazada is offering the Mi 9T with a free extended warranty and accidental damage protection.

The Mi 9T with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage is officially priced at RM1,199 and Lazada is including its LazadaCare Plus protection for free. The offer is only available on the Lazada App and you can secure a unit by placing a 10% deposit of RM119.90 before 11th July 2019.

After that, you are required to pay the balance on 12th July 2019 and they will ship out your phone within 11 days after the final payment is made. At the moment, the Mi 9T is only available in two colours – Black and Red.

By default, the Xiaomi Mi 9T comes with a standard 1-year local manufacturer’s warranty. With the free LazadaCare Plus add-on, you will get 1-year extended warranty plus 1-year accidental damage protection that covers repairs at an authorised service centre with genuine parts. You can learn more about LazadaCare Plus here.

To recap quickly, the Mi 9T is the global version of the Redmi K20. It gets a 6.39″ Full HD+ AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 730 processor. Since it has an edge to edge screen with no notches, the device comes with a pop-up 20MP selfie camera.

Despite being a mid-range smartphone, the Mi 9T is equipped with a flagship class triple-camera setup consisting of a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto shooter that offers 2X optical zoom.

Juicing up the device is a 4,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C and it also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. The Mi 9T is also available with 128GB of storage that’s priced at RM1,399.
