If you’re looking for a flagship smartphone with a fluid experience, the OnePlus 7 is an interesting device to consider. Although it isn’t launched officially in Malaysia, you can find import sets and they are much more affordable than the OnePlus 7 Pro. We’ve spotted a couple of interesting deals and you can get a top of the line OnePlus 7 model for only RM2,399.
Retailer G Store on Lazada is now selling the OnePlus 7 12GB RAM + 256GB model for RM2,399. That’s RM200 lower from what we’ve seen two weeks ago. If you don’t need that much of RAM, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is going for only RM2,049 for the Mirror Grey colour option.
Since this is an import set, the devices are not covered by official OnePlus Malaysia warranty. Instead, these OnePlus 7 units are covered by a 2-year in-house warranty.
To recap, the OnePlus 7 is the standard model in the current OnePlus flagship series. It features a 6.41″ Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device runs on a Snapdragon 855 processor and it uses a faster UFS 3.0 storage.
The device gets a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera up front, while the rear only gets a dual-camera setup (48MP f/1.7 main + 5MP f/2.4 depth camera). Powering the OnePlus 7 is a 3,700mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging via USB-C. Although it doesn’t come with a headphone jack, it is also capable of stereo audio playback.
