When I first found out that Razer teaming up with Proton to develop a one-of-a-kind Iriz, my imagination went wild with the prospect of a little pocket-rocket decked to the roof with Razer products and a kicking in-car entertainment system befitting of the edgy, high-performance Razer image.
Alas, this doesn’t seem to be the case.
The actual Razer Proton Iriz is on display at the ground floor of Nexus Bangsar in Bangsar South and it looks like not much more is done to the car than a full body wrap. The interior is stock standard and even the wheels are right off the Iriz in Premium trim.
The car will be on display there until 21 June, if you want to take a look.
The Proton Iriz will be offered up as a prize in a contest to promote the use of Razer Pay.
If you’re keen to stand a chance to win the unique Razer-edition Iriz, all you need to do is reload or pay using the Razer Pay app for purchases at Starbucks, 7-Eleven and for Celcom Xpax or Razer Gold. The contest runs all the way to 30 June.
Every transaction counts as one entry. So the more you pay with Razer Pay, the more you stack the odds in your favour! More info on the contest here.
The Malaysia Tech Week 2019 runs from 17 to 21 June.
