The quad-camera Honor 20 is finally going on sale this week and it’s available across Malaysia starting this Friday, 21st June 2019. The device is officially priced at RM1,699 and it comes with RM500 worth of freebies which stocks last.
As announced during the local launch, early Honor 20 buyers will get a free Honor Backpack, an Honor SoundStone and an Honor Band 4 fitness band. There’s no mention of online sales channels and if you’re interested, you can locate your nearest Honor Experience Store here.
To refresh your memory, the Honor 20 is a smaller flagship compared to the View 20 but it comes with a versatile camera setup. Upfront, it gets a 6.26″ Full HD+ display that comes with a punch-hole on the top left corner. Powering the device is a Kirin 980 processor and it comes with 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage which isn’t expandable.
For taking pictures, the front gets a 32MP f/2.0 selfie shooter, while the rear gets a quad-camera setup. There’s a 48MP f/1.8 main camera, a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Keeping the lights on is a 3,750mAh battery which supports 22.5W SuperCharge charging via USB-C. THe device also gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it runs on Magic UI 2.1 that’s based on Android 9.0 Pie.
The Honor 20 Pro which comes with a better quad-camera setup and a larger 4,000mAh battery was also announced in Malaysia as well. Unfortunately, there are no details yet about its release for the Malaysian market.
