The OnePlus 7 series is launching in Malaysia on 21st May

The latest OnePlus 7 series is coming to Malaysia very soon. The local launch organised by XianFeng Technology, the distributor for OnePlus in the country is scheduled to take place on the 21st May 2019, which is a week after the global launch event.

From what we know so far, the latest flagship comes in two variants – OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. For the top of the line OnePlus 7 Pro, it is expected to come with a large 6.67″ Fluid AMOLED display that pushes a higher refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with up to 12GB of RAM. The OnePlus 7 Pro also gets a faster UFS 3.0 storage that comes in either 128GB and 256GB of storage.

This time, the top of the line device comes with a triple-camera setup. It is expected to come with a 48MP f/1.6 main camera, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera. For the first time on a OnePlus device, the Pro model is expected to come with stereo speakers and a pop-up selfie camera that houses a 16MP sensor. There’s also a large 4,000mAh battery which supports OnePlus’ 30W Warp Charge via USB-C.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7 non-pro version is expected to come with a smaller 6.4″ display that has a notch like its current OnePlus 6T. The device will come with just two cameras and it is likely to retain the same 3,700mAh battery as their current flagship.

XianFeng Technology Sdn Bhd is the distributor for OnePlus in Malaysia.
