Yoodo eSIM now available for iPhone XS, XS Max and XR

Yoodo is finally offering eSIM for the latest iPhone models. This allows you to subscribe to Yoodo immediately without having to wait for the physical SIM card. On top of that, this will also enable the dual-SIM capabilities of your iPhone XS, XS Max and XR.

At the moment, this Yoodo eSIM offering is only available for new Yoodo registrations only. According to the FAQ, they are still working on making this available for existing subscribers.

While there are more phones in the market that supports eSIM, Yoodo is only supporting the latest three iPhone models at the moment. To subscribe, just download the Yoodo app and select Active SIM > Get Started > Select eSIM. After you’ve customised your plan and picked your number, a QR code will be sent to your registered email. Then, all you’ll need to do left is to scan the QR code by going into Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan.

With an eSIM, you can subscribe to plans without worrying about the usual physical SIM cards. Yoodo says that you can register multiple eSIMs but only one can be active at a time. Since the latest iPhone models for Malaysia come with a single nano-SIM slot, you can enjoy dual SIM by having Yoodo as an eSIM while having another telco SIM card on the card slot.
