Samsung Galaxy View 2 revealed in promo video

The Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a gigantic tablet that comes with a handy kickstand. After renders of the device appeared yesterday, a Galaxy View 2 promo video was just released by AT&T.

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy View 2 comes with a 17.3” display that pushes a resolution of Full HD. There are no vital hardware details yet but the video has revealed a large 12,000mAh battery and it comes with a quad-speaker setup that’s enhanced by Dolby Atmos.

Onboard, it has 64GB of storage and if you need more, it is also expandable via a microSD card up to 400GB. Since this is an Android tablet, you can also install apps on it. With its kickstand, you can transform the View 2 into a “TV” for video streaming content.

So far there are no pricing and availability details yet. It isn’t clear if Samsung will be selling this outside the US market. The original Galaxy View was previously offered in Malaysia for RM2,699. We got the WiFi model that comes with 32GB of storage.
