The Xiaomi Mi 9 appears to come with two spec options in Malaysia

The Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship smartphone is launching in Malaysia tomorrow at 9PM. Ahead of its official announcement, the Mi 9 is already listed on Lazada Malaysia and it appears that we are getting two spec options.

At the moment, Xiaomi has yet to announce its official pricing and availability details but the product page on the Mi Malaysia official store on Lazada has listed both 64GB and 128GB storage options. The listing also showed two colour options – Black and Blue, which was also revealed earlier by retailer DirectD.

The same retailer which also operates a Mi physical store at 1Utama had recently revealed the pricing of the Mi 9 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and it is going for RM1,999. For those who are looking for something more affordable, the Mi 9 64GB variant could be an alternative for you.

In the Philippines, the Mi 9 with 64GB storage is priced at 22,990PHP (about RM1,790) while the 128GB version is going for 24,990PHP (about RM1,946). We are guessing that the 64GB version could be priced at RM1,799 if it’s sold locally.

The Mi 9 Malaysia launch will be streamed live on their Facebook page on Wednesday at 9PM. They are giving away an exclusive Mi 9 Transparent Edition (12GB+256GB) to one lucky winner that can guess the price correctly during the live stream.
