A Huawei P30 Pro could be yours if you can guess the price correctly

Huawei Malaysia is currently running a guess the price contest and they are giving away a Huawei P30 Pro to one lucky winner. This is Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone that comes with a periscope zoom lens capable of producing 10X lossless zoom.

To participate, below are the steps provided by Huawei Malaysia’s Facebook page:

1. Like our Huawei Malaysia Facebook Page
2. Share this post & tag 3 friends
3. Leave a comment and guess the price of the HUAWEI P30 and P30 PRO (256GB)

According to the contest mechanics, the winner will be determined by the last contestant to have comment on the accurate prices of both Huawei devices. If there’s no accurate answer, the last comment with the closest answer will win.

Take note that the contest ends at 23:59 on 1st April 2019 and the prize is the Huawei P30 Pro with 256GB of storage. You can read the full T&C here.

If you’re thinking of converting the retail pricing from the global launch, do remember that our Malaysian pricing is significantly cheaper than the European market. When the P20 series was announced globally, it was priced at 649EUR (about RM3,279) for the P20 and 899EUR (about RM4,342) for the P20 Pro. However, both devices were launched in Malaysia at RM2,599 and RM3,299 respectively.

For a better estimation, below is the alleged Huawei P30 series pricing in China. Do note that Huawei has not officially revealed its pricing in China just yet.

Huawei P30

8GB RAM + 128GB storage – 3,988CNY (about RM2,425)
8GB RAM + 256GB storage – 4,488CNY (about RM2,729)
8GB RAM + 512GB storage – 4,988CNY (about RM3,033)

Huawei P30 Pro

8GB RAM + 128GB storage – 5,588CNY (about RM3,399)
8GB RAM + 256GB storage – 6,288CNY (about RM3,825)
8GB RAM + 512GB storage – 6,988CNY (about RM4,250)

At the moment we still don’t know how many variants of the P30 series will be offered in Malaysia. We are guessing that they might offer a single base model for the non-pro model and at least two storage options for the more expensive P30 Pro. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
