The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are now official and we expect Malaysian pre-orders to be announced very soon. As usual, you can expect the latest P30 series to be available on a telco contract and Maxis has confirmed that they will be offering special deals for the photographic-centric smartphone on the 6th of April 2019.
The local pricing isn’t revealed yet but you can expect Maxis to offer device bundles with its standard contract and Zerolution program. As usual, the devices will be tied with a 24-month contract duration with their MaxisONE postpaid plans.
Huawei Malaysia had teased that there will be several freebies being offered with the new P30 series. Yesterday, they have confirmed that they are giving away a Huawei Backup solution that can backup your smartphone with 1TB of storage and it can also fast charge your phone at the same time.
From Maxis’ Facebook post, it appears that 6th April will be the first sale event and this is the same date as Huawei Singapore’s first sale. Huawei will also increase its roadshow venues to 11 locations throughout Malaysia. This will include Kuala Lumpur (2 locations), Penang, Kedah, Perak, Johor Bahru, Melaka, Pahang, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak.
