Huawei will be introducing its latest P30 series a month after MWC19. This will be their latest flagship smartphones that promise to offer impressive photography experiences with its Leica co-developed cameras.
Similar to last year’s P20 series, the new P30 series will be announced in Paris and the event is happening on the 26th March 2019. From the official teaser video, it hints that the new smartphone can capture greater details with improved tele-photo capability.
Based on early speculation, Huawei is expected to introduce two models – the P30 with a triple-camera setup and a P30 Pro with a quad-camera array. Both devices are expected to come with a dewdrop notch design and will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Most recently, case maker, Spigen, had started offering cases for the P30 and P30 Pro. This gives us a clearer view of the design and it confirms its vertical camera layout which is similar to its current P20 series. Looking at the current Mate 20 Pro, we expect the new flagship device to run on the latest Kirin 980 processor and it would come with an ultra-wide-angle camera for greater versatility.
Since Malaysia is a key market for Huawei, you can expect local pre-order to be available soon after the global event.
