These photos provide a clearer look of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ launch is about a month away and now we have an even better look at the devices thanks to a fresh batch of images obtained by German website, AllAboutSamsung.de. We can see a lot more of its exterior including its Infinity-O punch-hole display and triple-camera setup for both S10 and S10+.

In terms of form factor, it isn’t radically different from the current Galaxy S9 and S9+. It uses curved glass for both front and back, and the forehead is noticeably thinner. The Galaxy S10 has a single selfie camera that’s placed on the top right corner, while the S10+ has two cameras which result a bigger cut-out-hole.

With the screen turned on, you can see the battery icon and signal reception bar being pushed slightly to the left. The S10 is expected to come with a 6.1” Quad HD AMOLED display while the S10+ gets a larger 6.4” screen.

Looking at the rear, the Galaxy S10 and S10+ will get a horizontal camera placement which is commonly found on their productivity-focused Galaxy Note series. Both the Galaxy S10 duo will feature a triple-camera setup and it appears to have retain the heart-rate sensor. The third camera is expected to be an ultra-wide-angle unit.

Another component that’s missing on the rear panel is a fingerprint sensor. This will be replaced by an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is a first for a Samsung smartphone.

While most flagship smartphone these days have ditched the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, you’ll be happy to know that Samsung is still keeping it on the Galaxy S10 and S10+ as pictured above. The latest flagships also feature a down-firing speaker grill that has a similar design as the current Galaxy Note9.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be announced at San Francisco on the 20th February 2019. The Korean smartphone maker is also expected to introduce a cheaper “Lite” Galaxy S10 and a foldable smartphone at the same event.
