You can get RM300 off the Xiaomi Mi A2 from Shopee

Introduced in July last year, the Xiaomi Mi A2 was one of the best budget smartphones you can get at the time. A lot has changed since then and there are a number of very capable sub-RM1,000 smartphones to choose from right now. While the Xiaomi Mi A2 might not be the one we’d recommend outright (due to its small battery and the lack of a headphone jack), it is still a good phone and if you’re looking for a super solid Android One device, the Mi A2 is by far the best you can get now.

So if you’re interested in the Mi A2, you can get the device for up to RM300 from Shopee starting from today to 10 January. There are two variants to chose from:

Mi A2 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage is RM600 (normal price RM899)
Mi A2 with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage RM799 (normal price RM1,099)

You can also use the promo code NEWMOB30 to get an additional RM30 on top of the discounted price being offered.

The promo code is also valid for several other smartphones listed under Shopee’s special “New Year, New Phone” promotion. Check out the list of phones on offer here.

The Mi A2 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ Gorilla Glass 5 display and an aluminium unibody design. It gets a 20MP front camera with AI-assisted portrait mode and a 12MP + 20MP dual-camera setup at the back.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 660 processor and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 charging via USB-C. While the Mi A2 doesn’t have 3.5mm headphone jack it still comes with an IR blaster at the top which allows the device to use as a universal remote control.
