Motorola is finally back in action in Malaysia and they are introducing the Motorola One which will go on sale starting tomorrow. This is their affordable Android One smartphone that’s priced under RM800.

In terms of specs, it gets a 5.9″ HD+ display and it runs on a Snapdragon 625 processor. According to the product page, it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which you can expand further via a microSD card.

At the rear, the Motorola One gets a 13MP f/2.0 + 2MP f/2.4 dual-camera combo while the front comes with an 8MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery and it supports a 15W TurboPower charging via USB-C. Motorola claims that you can get 6 hours of power from a quick 20-minute charge.

Since it runs on Android One, the affordable smartphone is guaranteed with three years of security updates. Out of the box, it runs on Android 8 Oreo but Motorola says that it will be among the first to get Android 9 Pie after the launch.

The Motorola One is officially priced at RM799 and it will be available starting tomorrow, 9 January 2019 exclusively on Shopee. If you’re interested, you can check out the Motorola One product page on their Shopee official store.

For the price, this competes directly with the Mi A2 Lite which is also an Android One device. While the Motorola One offers more RAM and storage, the Mi A2 Lite offers a higher resolution screen and a bigger battery.
