You can still get a discount to get your iPhone battery replaced

If you missed the opportunity to grab the iPhone battery replacement discount that ended on 31 December, all is not lost because authorised Apple reseller, Switch is having a promotion. You can get your iPhone battery replaced by them in a day for RM199.

The following iPhones eligible for the offer:
iPhone 6 / 6 Plus
iPhone 6S / 6S Plus
iPhone SE
iPhone 7 / 7 Plus
iPhone 8 / iPhone 8 Plus

Switch says that it will take at least a day for them to work on your iPhone and depending on demand, it may take up to seven days. To avoid long wait times they recommend that you make an appointment prior. The offer is while stocks last.

How to check if your iPhone battery is faulty

To find out if your battery is faulty, there’s a way for you to check if you’re running on iOS 11.3 and above. If you go to Settings > Battery, you’ll find a new “Battery Health” section. On this page, it will show your current battery’s maximum capacity and it will tell you if your battery needs a replacement.
