The Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) and the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) would like to remind the public to be wary of fake websites and social media accounts that allege to be related to the application of and registration for Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH or formerly known as BR1M).
MOF clarified that for any matters related to BSH, the official website is: https://bsh.hasil.gov.my.
MOF advises the public to be careful of the fraudulent websites and social media accounts, and to only register for BSH on the official website. In addition, MOF asks the public to avoid any calls and instant messages via apps like WhatsApp that claim to be related to BSH.
It clarifies that LHDN will not call the public to request for personal information for the purposes of BSH.
Additionally, LHDN will not make any outbound calls using its toll-free line (1-800-88-2716) or standard number (03-83138987). If necessary, call backs is only made to the individual who has made a call to the BSH phone numbers. The individual will be informed about the call back in advance.
MOF and LHDN does not charge for any BSH application or appeal made by the public nor do they provide any paid services for the application or appeal of BSH.
MOF and LHDN have never distributed information through social media platforms or instant messaging apps such as WhatsApp. MOF and LHDN only shares information via brochures that have been issued and distributed directly to BSH recipients.
