The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is the successor of the original Mi MIX. If you’re looking for a unique full-screen smartphone, the Mi MIX 2 is now going for less than RM1,000 at a clearance sale by Switch Concept.
The Mi MIX 2 was launched in Malaysia last year with a retail price tag of RM2,799 RM2,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB 64GB storage. Now you can get this same model for RM999, which is RM600 off its current retail price. The clearance sale starts tomorrow, 7th December until 15th December 2018.
Apart from the Mi MIX 2, the newer Mi MIX 2S is going for RM1,599 while the Redmi Note 5 with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is offered at RM629.
To recap, the Mi MIX 2 comes with a 5.99″ IPS Full HD+ display and it runs on a Snapdragon 835 processor. It features a premium ceramic back while the sides uses a 7000 series aluminium frame.
For imaging, the rear gets a single 12MP Sony IMX386 camera with 4-axis OIS while the front gets a 5MP selfie camera that’s placed at the bottom chin of the device. Powering the Mi MIX 2 is a 3,400mAh battery which charges via USB-C.
Meanwhile, the newer Mi MIX 2S is an updated version that runs on a newer Snapdragon 845 processor and has dual-AI cameras for the rear that scored 97 points on DxOMark Mobile. The Mi MIX 2S retains the same screen and battery size, but it comes with Qi wireless charging support.
The clearance sale is happening at Mi Outlets operated by Switch and it’s offered while stocks last.
UPDATE: The Mi Concept KLCC Facebook page has deleted the promo. However, you can still find the RM999 Mi MIX 2 and RM1,599 Mi MIX 2S pricing on their website.
