Here’s a clear look at the Vivo NEX 2

The Vivo NEX is an impressive all-screen smartphone that featured a pop-up selfie camera. Barely six months later, Vivo is about to release a newer version that will come with dual-displays

If the official teaser wasn’t clear enough, we finally get a clear look thanks to a leak on Weibo.

As shown on the official teaser video, the back comes with a secondary display that has a rather thick forehead and chin. Unlike the Nubia X where the secondary display stays hidden when it is not in use, you can tell that there’s a display on the back of the NEX 2.

Since the main display covers the entire front of the phone, there’s no space left for a selfie camera. Instead, it features a triple-camera setup at the rear which has a weird circular element that overlaps the secondary display.

There’s still no info on the hardware but from the pictures above, we can confirm that Vivo has retained the 3.5mm headphone jack and it has a USB-C port at the bottom. It is also likely that the NEX 2 will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor like the current model. In terms of colours, the NEX 2 appears to come in both red and blue options.

What do you think of the NEX 2? Does it look better than the Nubia X? Let us know in the comments below. The Nubia X is currently available for pre-order in Malaysia and it’s priced from RM2,469 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version.
