The DJI Osmo Pocket is now available for pre-order in Malaysia

The Osmo Pocket is the smallest 3-axis stabilised handheld camera system from DJI. This handheld device allows you to take smooth 4K videos which you can edit straight from your smartphone.

If you’re interested, the Osmo Pocket is now available for pre-order in Malaysia and you could get it before Christmas from selected retailers.

On retailer KLDSLR, the DJI Osmo Pocket is available for pre-order from RM1,550. This is the price for the second batch by air transport which will arrive around 2-8 January 2019 and it comes with a free 64GB microSD card.

If you can’t wait, the first batch by air is expected to arrive around 10-14 December and these units are priced at RM1,699. The next batch that’s arriving by sea on 26-30 December is priced at RM1,599.

Alternatively, another online store, DronesKaki.com is offering the Osmo Pocket with official DJI warranty for RM1,550. It’s also offered as a pre-order with stocks expected to arrive around December 2018 to January 2019.

To recap, the DJI Osmo Pocket weighs just 116g and it can shoot 4K 60fps videos at 100Mbps as well as 12MP stills. It uses a 1/2.3″ sensor with an 80-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture. A full charge via its USB-C port can last up to 140 minutes of usage without any accessory or smartphone attached.

The standard package comes with a cover, a power cable and two smartphone adapters (lightning and USB-C). The extra accessories such as the charging case, wireless module (for bluetooth and WiFi), 3.5mm adapter and a controller wheel are sold separately.
