UPDATE: TM’s services are fully restored at 6AM on Monday.
Apart from Maxis, it appears that TM Unifi customers are also currently facing slow connectivity. In response to user complaints via Twitter, TM has confirmed that there are having service interruptions and affected customers will experience slow browsing on all websites.
According to TM, service restoration is still in progress. From our check, not all Unifi subscribers are affected as some customers are still able to get high speeds on their fibre connection. In another tweet by @helpmeunifi, they mentioned that the slow connection issue currently affects customers in Central, Northern and East Malaysia.
At the time of posting, Maxis has yet to restore full speed on its fibre network. We are not sure what’s causing the slow down but it appears that it impacts both Maxis and Unifi.
