The Nubia X with dual-displays is now available for pre-order in Malaysia

In the pursuit for an all-screen edge-to-edge smartphone, some manufacturers put a notch on the display while others resort to a sliding mechanism. If you don’t like moving parts, the Nubia X is a flagship phone worth checking out. This all-screen device is expected to arrive in Malaysia by end of this year and you can pre-order it right now.

The Nubia X was announced last week and it was seen as an interesting alternative to Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 3, honor Magic 2 and Lenovo Z5 Pro. To solve the front camera conundrum, Nubia is doing things differently by ditching the usual front selfie camera altogether. Instead, it has a secondary screen at the back, while allows you take selfies with the main camera.

According to Nubia Malaysia’s online store on Shopee, you can pre-order the Nubia X from RM2,469 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model in Deep Black and Black Gold. The Sea Blue model costs more at RM2,519.

If you need more storage, the Nubia X 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is going for RM2,819 for Black Gold and RM2,869 for Blue Gold.

If you’re interested, you can pre-order from the Nubia online store on Shopee.

According to the product page, the Nubia X is expected to ship in 30 days. Meanwhile, the official Facebook page mentions that it is expected to arrive before January 2019.

To recap, the Nubia X features a 6.26″ Full HD+ LCD display in a 19:9 aspect ratio, while the rear gets a 5.1″ HD 720p screen that’s also touch sensitive. It run on a Snapdragon 845 processor that comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. In China, it has storage options ranging from 64GB to 256GB and it comes without any storage expansion.

For taking pictures, the rear gets a 16MP f/1.8 + 24MP f/1.7 dual camera setup with AI scene recognition. For easier unlocking, it even has two side-mounted fingerprint sensors. Powering the Nubia X is a rather large 3,800mAh battery that charges via USB-C.
