The 2019 budget (#Belanjawan2019) will be tabled in Parliament this Friday and there is a concerted effort by the Malaysian Ministry of Finance to make sure that the public gets information about the budget straight from the horse’s mouth. In addition to the event being broadcasted live on national TV, there will also be a live broadcast on FB. On top of that, you can also get direct updates from MOF via WhatsApp.

To enable updates for Budget 2019, just send a message “Hello MOF” to 011-1000 3001 on WhatsApp. You can also click this link to subscribe immediately.

#Belanjawan2019 is expected to be a mixed bag of measures that aims to tackle issues like home ownership on one hand while on the other economists are saying that the public shouldn’t expect tax cuts or reliefs as the government cannot afford it.

Whatever the case may be, you can be sure that you will be getting the latest info from MOF via WhatsApp.
