Here’s how you can watch the Huawei Mate 20 launch


If you are a Huawei Mate fan, tonight is the night that you are going to witness the highly anticipated launch of the Huawei’s Mate 20 Series in London.

In just a few hours, you can catch the launch live today (October 16) by tuning in at 9pm (Malaysia time) via their official website or you can go to their Facebook page when the event begins. We’ve also embedded a live stream of the Mate 20 event at the end of the article. When the clock strikes 9, all you have to do is click on the video below.

Even though we do not know what Huawei has under their sleeves, but one thing for sure, the company will definitely unveil their powerful duos – Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. However, like almost every new smartphone, there’s already been a bunch of leaks which gives us a rough idea on what to expect on the device.

For what we’ve gathered so far, the Mate 20 series will be powered by the company’s brand new 7nm Kirin 980 processor, which Huawei claims that it is the world’s most powerful and intelligent chipset.

Not to mention its camera array. After all the leak images on the internet, we are able to draw a hypothesis that the Mate 20 series of devices will adopt a triple camera and LED flashlight fitted in a cube array, which I think it is pretty cool.

Just like the P20 Pro, the Mate 20 Pro also doesn’t come with a card slot. But the company has introduced its new “microSD” card called the NM card, which provides with extra storage of 256GB. And, we know that it might come with a super fast charger that is purported to be pushing a higher 40W power delivery via a USB-C cable.

Since the launch is just a few hours away, we will definitely get more insights by then. What else would you like to see?
