Yoodo, the customisable digital telco on Celcom’s network has just reduced its prices for its add-on plans. This gives you more data for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp for as little as RM5/month.
With the latest software update for the Yoodo app, you can now add 20GB data for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp for only RM5/month, which calculates to only 25 sen per GB. If you stream a lot of videos, you can get 20GB of YouTube data for only RM10/month which amounts to 50 sen per GB.
Do note that these add-ons are only applicable as part of a new customised plan with data. At the bare minimum, you’ll have to customise a plan with at least 2GB of data at RM12/month before you can add-on these affordable data options.
Before this, they used to charge RM10/month for 5GB of data for Facebook and Instagram. Meanwhile, YouTube data was offered at a more expensive 10GB for RM20/month. With this new price revision, Yoodo is offering at least double the quota for half the price. For existing Yoodo subscribers, you’ll need to change your plan from the app to take advantage of this rate in your next billing cycle. Another new update is the ability to add PayPal as a mode of payment for your subscription.
In case you missed it, Yoodo is offering a 20GB data add-on for only RM20 in conjunction with the upcoming Merdeka celebration. For new subscribers, you can enjoy this perk for free since they are offering free RM20 credit when you order your first SIM pack that’s also free of charge.
