If you’re planning of terminating your current TM Unifi and Streamyx account, there’s now a new policy which takes effect from August 2018. Before visiting your nearest TMpoint, customers are now required to give TM an early notice.
The new termination policy was published on Unifi’s official website via a pop-up message. According to TM, customers who intend to terminate their service must now provide 30 days notice prior to termination.
You can inform them via unifi.com.my, live chat at unifi.com.my/chat, their social channels on Facebook and Twitter, or by email to [email protected].
After the 30 days notice, customers are still required to go to their nearest TMpoint to complete the termination process. Since the notice mentions service in general, this could also include their Unifi Postpaid and Unifi Wireless plans.
It is worth mentioning that TM isn’t the only broadband provider that requires early notice. According to TIME’s T&C, you are also required to provide them a 30 day notice before terminating. For Maxis Fibre broadband, customers are only required to visit their nearest Maxis Centre to terminate.
