Here’s how you can get 10% off on the Samsung Galaxy S10 in Malaysia

If you always wanted to own the latest Galaxy S smartphone, Samsung Malaysia is making it easier to switch with its Yearly Upgrade Program. If you buy a Galaxy S9 or S9+ today, you can enjoy 10% off on the next Galaxy S flagship plus additional benefits with a one-time add-on fee.

Starting from today, 2 July until 2 September 2018, new Galaxy S9 and S9+ buyers can top up RM100 to participate in the Yearly Upgrade Program. You’ll get a free screen protection (worth RM140) and one-month waiver if you pick a new Galaxy S9/S9+ on a 12-month 0% interest easy payment plan at authorised stores and outlets.

The main benefit is that you can get the next Galaxy S smartphone at 10% off. Assuming the next device will cost you RM3,999, you’ll get RM399 off which is quite substantial. The upgrade program can be redeemed in the Samsung members app under Benefits. Take note that your next Galaxy S purchase must be made within 13-15 months from the date you purchase your new S9 and S9+.

Since the Galaxy S series is usually announced around March each year, this means you’ll need to wait for a few months after the launch to enjoy this perk. If you can’t wait to get the S10 as soon as it’s available, this might not be a viable option.
