Upgrade your laptop’s HDD to Kingston SSD from as little as RM110

Is your laptop still using a hard disk drive? For faster performance, you can consider switching to Solid State Drive (SSD). If you’re looking for an affordable upgrade, a retailer on Shopee is offering Kingston SSDs with discounts of up to 54% off.

The SSDs on offer are 2.5″ SATA drives from Kingston’s affordable A400 range. All 3 models below have a read speed of 500MB/s but the write speed varies depending on capacity.

120GB Kingston A400 – RM299 RM113
240GB Kingston A400 – RM399 RM215
480GB Kingston A400 – RM699 RM379

The 120GB model does 320MB/s for writing while the 240GB model is faster at 350MB/s. The larger 480GB capacity unit writes the fastest at 450MB/s. Obviously, it isn’t as fast as their UV series but it’s still a worthy upgrade over standard hard disk drives. You can check out the full specs on Kingston’s product page.

On top of that, you can get RM3 off with the voucher code MONOVIBQ3 (minimum RM60 spend) and RM5 off with MONOVIBQ5 (minimum RM200 spend). The drives come with 3 years Kingston Malaysia warranty and they offer 1 to 1 exchange for warranty claim within 7 days of purchase. Also included is a free screwdriver while stocks last. If you’re interested, you can check out this page on Shopee.
