Huawei adds two new camera features for the Nova 2 Lite

The Nova 2 Lite is Huawei’s affordable selfie-centric smartphone. To open up new possibilities, Huawei has introduced a couple of new features via a software update. This includes a full manual mode in the default camera app.

For starters, the Huwaei Nova 2 Lite now gets AR Lens which enables you to take selfies with an interactive background. You can choose from the preset gallery or add your own custom image.

For serious photographers, the update also brings PRO Camera mode which lets you adjust the ISO, white balance, focus, metering mode, shutter speed and light exposure. There’s even the option to save your images in RAW format.

According to Huawei, the new update is rolling out starting today to all Nova 2 Lite users in Malaysia. If you haven’t received the update, you can check manually under Settings > System Settings.

The Nova 2 Lite was launched at RM799 and the price was recently reduced to RM659 with 0% GST. It’s available in Glossy Blue, Matte Black and Pink. On Shopee, it’s currently selling for as low as RM578.
