Balik Kampung this Raya with SOCAR and get free 48 hours of usage

Hari Raya is happening this Friday and if you’re planning to drive back to your hometown, SOCAR has a Balik Kampung offer just for you. You can drive home a SOCAR with petrol included from less than RM60/day.

From 11 to 24 June, you can get 48 hours off with the promo code RAYAPASS5 (5 days) and RAYAPASS7 (7 days). All SOCAR comes with a petrol card and you can drive up to 1,500KM for 5 days or 2,100KM for 7 days. Here’s how much it would cost to rent a SOCAR with this RAYAPASS promo for 5 days from Wednesday (13 June) to Monday (18 June):

Perodua Axia – RM498 RM298.80
Perodua Myvi – RM807 RM484.20
Perodua Alza – RM797 RM478.20
Honda City – RM807 RM484.20
Toyota Vios – RM807 RM484.20
Honda HRV – RM1,010 RM606.00

Take note that SOCAR has different rates for weekday and weekend, so your final amount might vary depending on your booking dates. For example, if you book during a weekday (Monday-Friday), a Perodua Axia would only cost you RM240 with this promo instead of RM400 (RM80/day). Just make sure you enter the promo code when you place your booking.

If you haven’t tried SOCAR, you can download the app here. It is advisable that you book early as cars for long term booking are limited. During sign up, you’ll need to submit your driver’s license and there’s a registration fee of RM10 (promo).

For short-term booking, SOCAR is running another promotion for discounted zones. You can get 50% off (up to a maximum of RM100) if you book a minimum of 6 hours from a pickup point with the % icon. You can redeem this promo 5 times before 14 June. To get this offer, just go to the SOCAR app and add the “Find discount SOCAR zones” coupon in the promo area.

SOCAR is a key-less on-demand car sharing platform which is managed entirely from your smartphone. Take note that tolls and parking charges are not included. You can learn more in our announcement post.
