honor 7A is a no-frills FullView smartphone priced under RM500

If you’re looking for a no-frills smartphone, honor Malaysia has just announced the honor 7A, its latest entry-level device. It has a large FullView display, a fingerprint sensor and it’s priced well below RM500. This new budget device will be sold exclusively on Shopee during the Super honor Day sale that’s happening this Friday, 8 June 2018 at 9AM.

Upfront, it gets a 5.7″ HD+ display that pushes a screen resolution of 1440×720 in an 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage which you can expand further via microSD card up to 256GB on its own dedicated slot. There’s also a higher spec model with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

The honor 7A for the Malaysian market is different from the one announced in India. Instead of a dual-camera setup, the honor 7A for our market comes with a single 13MP main camera while the front gets an 8MP selfie shooter with soft LED selfie light.

Keeping the lights on is a 3,000mAh battery which charges via microUSB. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skin on top. Despite being a budget device, it also comes with Face Unlock and an enhanced loudspeaker that claims to be louder than other smartphones of the same segment.

Available in Black and Gold, the base 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model is priced at RM479, while the higher spec 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option is going for RM569. During the Super honor day sale, the base model honor 7A with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage can be yours for only RM429 on Shopee.
