Huawei Nova 2i gets another price cut for Mother’s Day

In conjunction with Mother’s Day, Huawei is giving its selfie-centric Nova 2i another price cut in Malaysia. Originally priced at RM1,299, it was slashed to RM1,099 three months ago. Now it’s getting another price reduction and you can get it for less than RM1,000.

The Huawei Nova 2i is now officially priced at RM999 and you can get it on Huawei’s official store on Lazada. If you order it online, the official store is bundling a 6,700mAh power bank for free and it comes in Gold, Blue and Black. For those looking for a cheaper deal, some retailers are offering the Nova 2i for as low as RM899.

To recap, the Nova 2i features a 5.93″ Full HD+ display that offers an 18:9 FullView experience. It runs on a capable Kirin 659 processor that’s mated to 4GB of RAM. There’s 64GB of storage which is still expandable via microSD.

The key highlight of the Nova 2i is its quad-cameras. There’s a 13MP f/2.0 + 2MP f/2.4 camera combo in front, while the rear features 16MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 cameras. Juicing up the device is a 3,340mAh battery. Initially launched with Android 7.0 Nougat, the Nova 2i has finally received its new Android 8.0 update with EMUI 8.0 skin on top.
