Here’s how you can get the Xiaomi Mi 6X in Malaysia

The Xiaomi Mi 6X was announced last week and the same device is expected to be sold outside of China with Android One. If you prefer this mid-range device with MIUI, you can buy one in Malaysia through a grey importer.

Mobile2Go is offering the Mi 6X with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage for RM1,388. As a comparison, the Mi 6X 6GB + 64GB storage model is currently priced at 1,799CNY in China which is about RM1,114 if converted directly. At time of posting, Mobile2Go is offering the device in either Gold and Black.

To recap on the specs, the Mi 6X comes with a 5.99″ Full HD+ display and it runs on Snapdragon 660 processor. For imaging, it comes with a 12MP + 20MP main camera while the front comes with 20MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 3,010mAh battery which charges via USB-C.

Compared to the Redmi Note 5, the Mi 6X comes with a full metal unibody design but it lacks a headphone jack. You can learn more about the Mi 6X in our announcement post.

If you’re interested, you can check out the Mi 6X listing on Mobile2Go. Take note that this is an imported set and it is covered by their own in-house warranty.
