OPPO F7 Malaysia: Here’s all you need to know

OPPO’s latest selfie-centric smartphone, the F7, has finally arrived in Malaysia. It gets a larger display and it comes with a 25MP selfie camera with AI beautification features.

Over at the front, the OPPO F7 gets a 6.23″ FullHD+ display that has a taller 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it runs on a newer 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 processor that’s mated to either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Storage wise, it comes with either 64GB or 128GB onboard that’s expandable via microSD.

The OPPO F7 has a notch on the display and it also supports Face Unlock. Over at the rear, it gets a 16MP f/1.8 main camera and a fingerprint sensor which unlocks quickly at a touch. Powering the device is a 3,400mAh battery and it charges via microUSB. Out of the box, it runs on Android 8.1 with OPPO’s own ColorOS 5.0 skin on top.

The OPPO F7 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage is officially priced at RM1,399 and it’s available in Red, Silver and Black. There’s a higher spec model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage which will be announced later.

UPDATE: The OPPO F7 128GB is officially priced at RM1,699. Available for pre-order starting from 23 April.

Pre-orders are still available and you can secure your unit with a RM100 booking. For early bird customers, you can get freebies worth RM299 while stocks last.

The OPPO F7 is officially available starting 21 April 2018 and they are having a first sale event at Sunway Pyramid. You can order the OPPO F7 online via Shopee, Lazada and the OPPO Store.
