These are the new Xpax postpaid and prepaid plans

Celcom’s prepaid brand has just gotten a refresh for 2018. After simplifying their prepaid in December 2016, Xpax is now offering both postpaid and prepaid plans that are targeted at the youth.

Xpax Postpaid Plans

The new Xpax postpaid comes in two plan options and they are available only for customers aged 25 years old and below. The base Xpax XP50 gives you 15GB of data for RM50/month while the Xpax XP79 gives you 22.5GB of data and an additional 15GB Free Video Walla (Video streaming data) for RM79/month.

Other benefits include unlimited late night YouTube between 1AM to 7AM daily and you also get unlimited music walla and unlimited iflix premium access. In terms of raw high-speed data, they are quite similar to their current Xpax Prepaid KAWKAW Squad offering.

Both plans also offer unlimited voice calls but it is only to 5 friends on the Celcom network. Calls are charged at RM0.30/minute at 60-second blocks while SMS costs 15 sen each.

Xpax will be offering device bundles with discounts of up to 50%. You can get a new smartphone from RM199 and they are also offering the iPhone 6 from as low as RM29/month on EasyPhone.

As an added bonus, Xpax will offer you 100GB of Super VideoWalla during your birthday. For more info, you can check out the Xpax XP50 and XP79 product pages.

Xpax Prepaid Plans

The new Xpax Prepaid plan looks the same as before but they have made a couple of tweaks. While you still get 10GB of basic internet, you no longer get free 10GB of Facebook and 10GB of Instagram when you subscribe to a data plan. Instead, you have to select one from four available monthly freebie options which include 10GB of high-speed Facebook, 10GB of high-speed Instagram, 3GB of YouTube and Unlimited WhatsApp, WeChat and Twitter. You can select your monthly freebie via the Celcom Life App or dial *118*1*7#.

For new Xpax prepaid subscribers, they are also giving free RM5 credit via the Boost app. If you’re porting-in from another telco, Xpax is also offering free monthly 1GB data for the first 12 months.

The call rate remains unchanged at 30 sen/minute and SMS still costs 15 sen each. All plans come with Music Walla and if you subscribe to a weekly or monthly plan, you also get free iflix premium access. Monthly plan subscribers will also get unlimited YouTube data between 1am to 7am daily.

If you need more, Xpax is still offering add-ons for late night, social or video usage from as little as RM1/day for 1GB. For more info, you can check out the Xpax Prepaid page.

Xpax Youth Prepaid Plans

For prepaid users aged 25-years and below, you can enjoy 50% more data and this is basically a rename of its KAWKAW Squad offering. For RM30 you get 5GB + 2.5GB of extra data while RM50 gets you 10GB + 5GB of extra data. As part of its triple data promo, you also get additional 200% of your base data but take note that the bonus data is valid only for the first 3 days.

If you subscribe to either the RM50 or RM79 monthly plan, you also get to enjoy free calls to 5 friends on Celcom, which is similar to its new postpaid plan. All Xpax Youth subscribers will also get to enjoy free 100GB Super VideoWalla on their birthday.

You can learn more on the Xpax Youth page.
