The Acer Swift 5 is an ultra-light 14″ laptop that runs on the latest 8th gen Core i5 processor. It has a magnesium-lithium body that feels upmarket and it weighs just 0.97 kg. Originally priced at RM3,799, this ultra-portable laptop is now going for less than RM3,500 in Malaysia.
Available in either Honey Gold and Charcoal Blue, the Swift 5 can be yours for RM3,487 on Shopee with a lowest price guarantee. For this specific Swift 5 model, it gets a 14″ IPS Full HD (1920×1080) touch-screen display and it is powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U processor. There’s 8GB of DDR3L RAM which isn’t upgradable and it has 256GB of PCIe SSD.
It also gets a fingerprint sensor at the bottom right of the keyboard but unfortunately, there’s no built-in memory card reader. Connectivity wise, it supports 802.11ac WiFi with MU-MIMO technology along with Bluetooth 4.0. You also get two full-sized USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and one USB 3.1 Type-C port.
The Swift 5 gets a 36Wh 4760mAh battery which is rated to last up to 8 hours on a single charge. Out of the box, it runs on Windows 10 Home 64-bit and it is covered by a 2-year Acer Local Warranty.
