You can get the Huawei P20 from as low as RM1 with Maxis

The Huawei P20 series will be on sale in Malaysia starting from tomorrow, 6 April 2018. If you don’t want to pay the full retail price, Maxis is one of the three telcos in Malaysia to offer it on contract and you can get it from as low as RM1.

Maxis hasn’t revealed the full plan details yet but we reckon the RM1 offer is tied to their highest MaxisONE Plan 188 postpaid with an additional MaxisONE Share line. This should be the same offer as the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. As usual, the contract duration is for 24 months.

The MaxisOne Plan 188 costs RM188/month and it comes with 60GB of all-day data, unlimited calls and SMS. For the MaxisONE Share line, you get 5GB of all-day data which is shared with the same data pool as the principal line (e.g. 60GB + 5GB = 65GB), plus an additional 5GB for 4G weekend use at RM48/month. So in total, your commitment is RM236/month for 2 years.

At the moment, we still don’t know if the RM1 offer is applicable for the Huawei P20 (RRP: RM2,599) or the P20 Pro (RRP: RM3,299). We’ll definitely find out the full plans and possible offers when the sale starts tomorrow. To learn more about the Huawei P20 series, you can check out the following links:
