vivo V9 with 24MP selfie camera has arrived in Malaysia

vivo Malaysia has just introduced the V9, its latest selfie-centric smartphone that comes with a 24MP AI enabled selfie camera. Like most new smartphones from China, it gets a notch display and a vertically mounted dual-camera bump.

The vivo V9 is officially priced at RM1,399 and it comes in Gold, Blue and Black. Overall, it offers better hardware specs and a more reasonable price tag compared to its previous vivo V7+.

The V9 gets a 6.3” FullHD+ display that pushes a resolution of 2280×1080. Under the hood, it gets a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 processor that’s mated to 4GB RAM and it comes with 64GB of storage.

For selfies, it gets a 24MP front camera with AI beautification while the rear gets a 16MP + 5MP camera combo.

There’s a fingerprint sensor at the rear and you can also unlock the device with face unlock. Powering the V9 is a 3,260mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0 skin on top. If you’re interested, you can order the vivo V9 from their official store on Lazada Malaysia.
