The squeezable HTC U11 is now going for less than RM2,200 in Malaysia

The HTC U11 is probably one of the most underrated smartphones of 2017. It has a top of a line Snapdragon 835 processor, great BoomSound HiFi speakers and an awesome UltraPixel 3 camera. Originally announced at RM3,099, you can get it now at about RM900 off.

Retailer G Store on Lazada Malaysia is now offering the U11 at only RM2,188. This is a HTC Malaysia unit which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

To recap on the specs, it has a 5.5″ QuadHD Super LCD5 display that’s encased in a Liquid Surface glass body. For imaging, the rear gets a 12MP f/1.7 main camera with OIS, while the front gets a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery which supports QuickCharge 3.0 charging via USB Type-C and the U11 also comes with IP67 dust and water resistance. Unfortunately, the device lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack but HTC is making up for it by bundling a pair of USonic in-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancellation. If you need to connect to your existing headphones, HTC is also including a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter that comes with a built-in DAC.

The U11 was initially launched with Android 7.1 Nougat and HTC has already pushed its Android 8.0 Oreo update last month. For further reading, you can check out our full review.
