Pre-order the Galaxy S9 and S9+ today and collect your order as early as next Friday

Just days after the Galaxy S9 and S9+ were announced at Barcelona, Samsung Malaysia is accepting pre-orders for its flagship duo starting at 10AM today. If you place your booking now, the Galaxy S9 or S9+ could be in your hands by next Friday.

To recap, the Galaxy S9 with 64GB storage is priced at RM3,299, while the Galaxy S9+ with 64GB is going for RM3,799. This time Samsung Malaysia is offering a larger 128GB and 256GB storage option for the Galaxy S9+ and they are priced at RM3,999 and RM4,399 respectively.

In terms of colours, the 64GB and 128GB units are available in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple. However, the top of the line Galaxy S9+ with 256GB of storage is only available in Midnight Black. You can learn more in our 9 things you need to know post or with our first impressions.

The pre-order period will start today, 1st March at 10:00AM and it will end at 11:59PM on Sunday, 4th March 2018. If you’re ordering from Samsung Malaysia’s website, you’ll just need to place a RM300 deposit online and you can pay the balance during the collection. Pre-order customers can collect their Galaxy S9 or S9+ between 9th to 15th March 2018 and that’s a week before it officially hit Malaysian retail stores on 16 March 2018.

As a pre-order promo, Samsung is offering a Harman Kardon wireless bluetooth speaker worth RM699 while stocks last. The speakers are available in either black or white. Samsung is also offering 0% interest instalments and you can find out which credit cards are applicable over here.

To make it easier to switch phones, Samsung is also having a Trade Up offer where you can trade-in your existing device and use that value to discount the price of your new phone. The valuation is set by Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd and you can trade in at participating Samsung authorised dealers and partners between 9th March to 30th April 2018.

On certain models like the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, you can get additional trade-in value of up to RM400 extra with this promotion. If your Galaxy S7 edge is still in good condition, it’s worth RM1,250 in this trade-up program. The trade-in offer is also applicable to non-Samsung phones and you can view the full trade-in list here.

To place your pre-order, you can visit Samsung Malaysia’s pre-order page. Other channels such as Harvey Norman, Senheng, senQ, 11street, Lazada and Shopee will be offering pre-orders as well and you can also get contract options from Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile. Once the telco plans are out, we will be kicking out a Galaxy S9/S9+ telco plan comparison.
