Huawei Malaysia now offers the Mate 10 with RM400 off the normal price

A couple of days ago, we reported that you could get a Huawei Mate 10 Pro with a significant RM370 discount. If you’re looking for a great deal for the more affordable (non-Pro) Mate 10, Huawei Malaysia is now offering the device at RM400 off the normal price plus free gifts in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Originally priced at RM2,699, the Mate 10 is now going for only RM2,299 in Malaysia. On Vmall, they are bundling a Vehicle-Mounted Air Purifier and Leisure Camisole Cup, while on the Lazada official store, they are giving away a Mate 10 Premium Gift bundle with an international hotel voucher while stocks last.

If you’re interested, you can order the Mate 10 via Lazada or Vmall.my.

To recap, the Huawei Mate 10 has a 5.9” Quad HD display that comes in a more traditional 16:9 display aspect ratio. It is powered by the same Kirin 970 processor that has its own dedicated NPU for AI oriented tasks. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable via microSD.

Unlike the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, the standard Mate 10 still has a headphone jack and the fingerprint sensor is mounted at the front of the device. However, it lacks IP67 water resistance that’s available on the Pro version. Connectivity wise, the Mate 10 can support dual VoLTE and dual 4G on both SIMs simultaneously.

For imaging it features a dual-camera setup with 12MP + 20MP shooters that uses a fast f/1.6 lens. Over at the front, it gets a 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Powering the Mate 10 is a 4,000mAh battery which supports Huawei SuperCharging technology. Out of the box, it’s already running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0.
