The Mi MIX 2 with 8GB RAM in Full Ceramic White is now on sale in Malaysia

The Mi MIX 2 is an interesting flagship from Xiaomi as it comes with a “bezel-less” display and a nice ceramic back. If you prefer something more exclusive with better specs, Xiaomi Malaysia has just announced the arrival of its Mi MIX 2 Special Edition. Not only it has more RAM and double the storage, the Special Edition comes in white.

To recap on the specs, the Mi MIX 2 has a 5.99″ IPS Full HD+ display and it runs on a top of the line Snapdragon 835 processor. Instead of having 6GB RAM and 64GB storage like the standard Mi MIX 2, this Special Edition gets 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Over at the rear, it comes with a single 12MP IMX386 main camera with 4-axis OIS, while the front comes with a 5MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a 3,400mAh battery which supports quick charging via USB-Type C.

Since this is a Special Edition model, it comes with a 4-sided full ceramic unibody exterior and it has an 18-karat gold plated ring around the main camera. As a comparison, the standard model uses ceramic only for the back panel while the side is made from 7000 series aluminium.

If you’re interested, the Mi MIX 2 is priced at RM2,699 and you can order it from the official Mi Store on Lazada. The standard model in Black is priced at RM2,199.
