This could be the best budget honor smartphone you can buy for under RM500

If you’re looking for a smartphone that has better hardware than the budget-friendly Redmi 5A, here’s an interesting offer for the honor 5C. Announced back in 2016, the honor 5C was an affordable mid-range device that comes with a full HD display, a capable 16nm octa-core processor and it has a metal back design. Originally priced at RM799, you can get it now at almost 50% off.

Retailer DirectD is offering the honor 5C at only RM410 on Shopee. This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet and it has Shopee’s Lowest Price Guarantee. According to the listing, this device is covered by Huawei Malaysia’s warranty.

To recap on the specs, the honor 5C has a 5.2″ Full HD display and it runs on a Kirin 650 processor that’s mated to 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of onboard storage which is expandable via microSD.

The device has a 13MP main camera while the front comes with an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery and out of the box, it runs on Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1. Also included is a fingerprint sensor that’s mounted at the rear.

The front carries an 8MP selfie shooter and powering the device is a 3,340mAh battery. If you’re interested, you can check out DirectD’s store on Shopee.
