OPPO Malaysia slashes its R9s price to RM1,398

The OPPO R9s is getting another price cut in Malaysia. After its last revision to RM1,598, the selfie-centric smartphone is now reduced by another RM200.

Launched early last year with a RM1,798 price tag, the R9s features a 5.5″ Full HD display and it runs on a frugal yet capable Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Over at the rear, it gets a 16MP f/1.7 main camera with dual-PDAF technology while the front gets a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. It also comes with a quick fingerprint sensor and a 3,010mAh battery that supports OPPO’s VOOC Flash charger. With its new RM1,398 price tag, the R9s is an interesting mid-range option if you’re into selfies.

At the time of posting, the new OPPO R9s price isn’t reflected yet on their Lazada and OPPO Online store, and it could be updated later today.
