If you’re looking for an affordable new phablet with a large FullView display, dual-camera and top-notch hardware, the honor View10 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Priced at RM2,099, the View10 can be considered as an affordable alternative to the Mate10 series and it also comes with the same Kirin 970 processor with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit for AI-driven tasks.
To refresh your memory, the honor View10 which is also known as the V10 in China comes with a 5.99″ FullHD+ IPS display. For Malaysia, we are getting the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model and it comes in either Black or Blue. Instead of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the View10’s fingerprint sensor is placed in front like the Huawei Mate 10 (non-Pro).
The rear dual-camera setup is quite similar to the Huawei Mate 10 series without the prominent LEICA badge. It has a 20MP monochrome sensor and a 16MP RGB unit. Both gets a f/1.8 lens and there’s no OIS. However it does get AI assistance for faster object/scene recognition like its more expensive Huawei cousins. For selfies, it gets a 13MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter.
Powering the device is a 3,750mAh battery and it supports 5V/4.5A SuperCharging via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 UI on top.
As a pre-order exclusive promo, they are giving the first 1,000 customers an honor band A2 and a Final Fantasy redemption card that are worth RM699. Stocks will be available by 12 January 2018.
