Doogee managed to do what the Galaxy S9+ and iPhone X couldn’t do

Last month, we’ve seen an “iPhone X” with “Touch ID” from Leagoo that runs on Android. If you hated the protruding dual-camera bump of the iPhone X, here’s an interesting alternative from Doogee.

According to serial leakster @evleaks, the phone pictured here is the Doogee V. It comes with a 6.2″ display that has the iPhone X’s iconic notch, while the rest of the phone looks like Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S9+ flagship.

It isn’t clear if the display is curved around the edges but the side and bottom profile looks like a typical Samsung flagship. Over at the back, you’ll find a vertically placed dual-camera placement like the upcoming Galaxy S9+.

On the upcoming flagships, Samsung will still retain its rear fingerprint sensor, while iPhone X has replaced Touch ID completely in favour of its Face ID feature. As seen in the picture above, the Doogee V appears to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, which is a feature that both Samsung and Apple have yet to introduce. It is yet to be seen if Doogee’s fingerprint feature is as quick as today’s fingerprint sensors.

There are no details on the specs yet but don’t expect it to be anywhere as close as the real deal.
